  76. This package contains the PocketD Plus (TM) file manager v4.0
  77. by PocketWare.  This document contains only a brief description of the
  78. package and its features, along with instructions for its installation.
  79. The user should refer to REGISTER.DOC for details of ordering by VISA
  80. etc. and examine README.1ST for details of how to use the documentation.

  82. PocketD Plus may well be the tool you are looking for: A tiny but superb
  83. colour directory lister, file copier and immensely powerful file
  84. manager, allowing the user to carry out tasks either too difficult or
  85. impossible by other means. PocketD is almost essential for systems and
  86. network administrators, sysops .. in fact anyone who uses DOS.

  88. PocketD Plus is a shareware program.  This evaluation version includes
  89. all features of the program, and is not crippled in any way.  You may
  90. use it for up to 30 days, without charge (see README.1ST for more
  91. details).  If you like the program, and wish to continue its use after
  92. this evaluation period, you are required to pay for the program (see
  93. REGISTER.DOC for more details).  Any fee you may have paid to others
  94. (disk vendors, dealers, etc.) to obtain this evaluation version was a

  141. ===== Installation =====================================

  143. The installation procedure for PocketD Plus is quite simple.  The
  144. package includes a program, "INSTALL.BAT", which automates the entire
  145. process.  You will need between 35k and 300k  of available disk space on
  146. the hard drive on which you plan to install. Experienced users may
  147. prefer to simply copy all the distribution files to the destination
  148. directory.

  150. INSTALLING FROM DISKETTES
  151.  
  152.    o  Place the PocketD Plus distribution diskette in the
  153.       appropriate diskette drive. Select the drive by typing
  154.       A: (or B: etc.)
  155.  
  156.    o  Execute the "INSTALL.BAT" program on the distribution diskette by
  157.       typing "INSTALL".
  158.  
  159.    o  Follow the instructions presented by the installation program.

  161. INSTALLING FROM A HARD DISK

  163.    o  Instructions as above, but first copy the files to a temporary
  164.       directory on your hard disk

  166.    o  When you're satisfied that the installation was successful, you
  167.       can delete the temporary directory FROM which you installed
